HELP ~ Need your creative Logo Ideas

Jim and I have been presented with a very unique opportunity to advertise our business 8) however, we need to create a logo. We own a swimming pool cleaning and maintenance company. With it being a very small and new start up business as you can imagine we can't afford to pay a graphic designer, and we only have a 4 day turn around time <yikes>

I know many of you have wonderful imaginations, are very talented and often willing to help. I know absolutely nothing about computer graphic programs or designing this and I am looking for ideas and suggestions ..... got any?? :toothy10:

Doing the seasonal thing around here Tammy, i have been through the same thing as you. We tried to do some creative thinking as yourself and we came up with a few that does have something to do with pools. One logo that the guys came up with that really had a ring to it was, "Makin You Wet" Pool service. How about " The Wetter, The Better". You'll have to admit. Anyone with that on the side of their van must be a fun lovin creative business person. Good luck on the efforts.

I see a simple black and white logo.
The words Greyson Pool Services on the left, and a black shadow diagram of a person, standing next to the logo, leggest crossed at ankles, leaning on one of the sweeper poles, with a bucket of cleaners or chemicals or another tool at the base of his feet?
 
Greyson Pool sounds like the name of a Prog Rock band, and there's tons of album art around from that! It might be a bit avant garde, but you might be able to use it!
If nothing else, this article is hilarious...and I like a lot of these bands!
