The only movies we watch we have seen more than once. Hollywood produces crap nowadays, so we rely on older movies. We have over 2000 on DVD. The ones we've seen the most are John Wayne Westerns and Clint Eastwood movies. I am sure I've seen Big Jake at least a couple hundred times since I was a kid. We just watched The Blob (1958) last night.
I had a friend with whom I worked at RCA in Camden and he did the sound track for The Blob. I watched it again after I learned this and sure enough, he is in the credits for sound: Godfrey Buss.
I too love the oldies. B&W westerns, Wayne, Cagney, Eastwood, etc. I also like a lot of the newer movies: Ironman, Men in Black, etc.
I built a home theater so that I could enjoy
these at home while still in a theater
environment. 5.1 surround sound with 1,000 watts, 125 inch diagonal screen and 3D capable. I've shown these before, but I'll
share them again:

Plus who doesn't love seeing robots carrying
beautiful women around???
.We are huge Harry Potter fans here. We have all the films and watch them all a couple times a year.
Agree! On the rare occasion when we do go to a movie, we rate each upcoming movie's chance of success by watching the trailer. We are right about 95% of the time. Hollywood should hire us. We probably have 500 DVDs, but we have a good VCR and several hundred tapes. Every once in a while, we'll watch a tape.Hollywood produces crap nowadays, so we rely on older movies. What? That's a classic! Way better than "Jerky Boys" and "Buckaroo Banzai"!.
