Got out of hospital Friday after total knee replacement. Motor is still on dyno and can't make it today to watch it run ugh!!!!! So far 585 hp 549ft tor.
 
With those kind of numbers your NECK might be the next thing to need a rebuild! Sounds like that motor is going to set you back in your seat. Heal up, it'll be waiting for you.

I have 70 dart swinger 340.i have own since 1974. now it is tubed,410 small block,roller cam,victor intake,w2 ported heads,tti 17/8 headers,727 trans all the good stuff.83/4 rear 486 gears spool. 8 inch tubo action convertor. I do drive it on the street. ran 1130s with old motor 360. ran 1120s with 340 and spray. hope to run 10s with this motor.i know performance and a lot about a bodys. I am no expert! I joined this site because I learn something every time I go on here! you guys are great! mopar or no car! marty wells.

Did you test the knee on the dyno also? You know, to see how much more horsepower the new one has....

combo,410 stroked 360 block,diamond pistons,10.4 comp.k1crank,hbeamrods. Victor w2 intake,aed 850 dp,crane solid roller,600lift [email protected] w2 heads,mopar w2 iron rockers 1.5. Ran with 1/5/8 headers.My ttis 1/7/8 hit dyno plate. We figure 12 to 15 more hp with ttis. 585hp@6200 549tor@4600. I am very happy with the results. Now when the knee heals I can put it in the car!
 
Nice results.Do you run 1/8 mile or 1/4?What size rear tire?I run 1/4 mile with 30 inch tire,4:30 spool and cross the line at 6400rpm.My 410 is a similar build(bit bigger solid roller,eddy heads P&P)These sb strokers come on early with the right T converter.I ran my best last weekend in the 1/8th. 1.42 60ft 6.70@101mph pump gas.Hope the knee heals quick.:D
 
All hail that 585/549 pull!! I'd hobble over on one knee just to see that!!! Congrats on the build, and congrats on the new knee, you'll be "knee"-ding that for the butt kicking about to ensue!!!! :)
 
Pettybludart that's a nice fast pass. the 60ft is great! We run the 1/4 here only 1/8 on make ups. Esta dragstrip cicero,n.y. Now I run a 8 3/4 rear with 4 86s and spool strange axles. I think gears are to steep. I can run as big as a 14x32 tire. I run a 8in turbo action convertor, 4400stall. 727 trans manual I like the beefy trans. Super stock springs. I hope my car runs near as good as yours. Knee is getting better,I don't limp anymore.
 
Nice to hear that the knee is getting better. Nice build you have going on there.
Your making some good numbers with that cam. It's really not that BIG of a cam. Lift is great!
What work was done to the heads?
 
crane cam is a custom grind. its so easy to over cam. I did that with my 360,lost a lot of low end torque. the w2 heads have a stage 2 port,from porter racing heads. 2.05 int 1.625 ex long stem ss valves.
