Mallory unilite

Just picked up a used unilite, are they any good? it's an older model but is pretty clean and the shaft feels real tight.

I have had a few of them, one on the old dart right now. i have never had any problems but have heard a few people say the module has gone out on them but i think those people were not using a resistor. the one on my elco i daily drove for about 5 years and never had a single issue.

An excellent distributor. The module issue is like said above, but a spare in the glove box can't hurt just incase something wacky happens or the module is a bad unit. That's the only draw back to an otherwise great part.

Does it plug into the stock ignition and use the stock resistor and ign box?
