after all that stripping and rubbing down the dirt an other **** - the car was sandblasted, that gave´s me some time to a little paintwork on the engine

Very, Very nice resto!! You do very good work. How does she run with the new power plant?

cheers - the engine is still the old one, but it became a Offenhauser Intake and AirCleaner-Assembly, and a Demon-4BBL-Carb. - and i was quit astonished, how that old lady runs

Right on man! The photos make it look easy and simple, but I know how much sweat and blood went into that. Congratulations on a job well done! Now enjoy it like you stole it, as they say.

Great job. I think its so cool to see old US cars in Europe.

We in the US like to think that we are the only muscle car maniacs. It's good to see that Germany also has a few. You did an outstanding job on this car. Howard

You have dun a very very "great" job on that barracuda.
It was dun correctly and is a jewel lilredridinghoo:hello2:

Mopar lee you need to see this Beauty!!

This is a show winner here:thumbup:

Congratulations on this build, It is one of the best looking A's here.:eye:

Did you pull the rear quarter panels off just so you could get at the rust on the inside? The outside of the quarters look pretty rust free from the start. Or did you replace the quarter panels with donor ones?

first of all - THANX for all your compliments:wav:

Did you pull the rear quarter panels off just so you could get at the rust on the inside? quote]

yes that´s reason why !! the only rust we have seen before we took the quarter panels off, was beside the long chrometrim-part - after i put off there where some minor spots an two or three little rusty holes under it. Threrefore a good friend of mine (Gustav Widegren from Sweden, he´s one of the members of the famous A-Bombers-HotRod-Club, and without his help, the car would not look the way it does now :prayer: btw. he builds also very hot HotRods) anyway.... he take a little mirror on flexible stick and so we could have a look under the skin, what we saw here made it easy for me. The panels had to be pulled off if we will get through all the rust inside.

Your fish looks great, typical German Craftsmanship! I work off and on in Donauworth for Eurocopter, are you near there?

Hello Hyper Pak - Donauworth is about 25 Kilometers from my Hometown... give me a shout if you there, maybe we could arrange a "meet and greet"

Thanx - in the meantime we´ve done some modifications :burnout::-\"

You've done some great work on your fish. See ya in Sweden this year?

thanx 65dartcharger
to be honest.... i´m affraid but i don´t think i can afford it this year... have to finish my wives 1970 Valiant until May 2013 that´s the time limit she gaves my to get it back on the road.

also have to make some adjustments on my set-up (other intake/carb etc.) as i took the wrong turn and ended up with extremly max. high reving powerband but no tourqe at the bottom line
