Hello. I'm from Finland,north europe. I have Plymouth valiant -73 (340cid and 904) Engine is allmoust stock whith mech.cam and strip dominator and carter750cfm. Body have some fiberglass parts.. Tranny have manual valve body but it is bad shape now. It is very funny car drive, quit fast but very noisy:smile: but i do new exhaust system next winter. Sorry about bad english writing:(

I love four door hot rods especially orange ones.
You must be the coolest dude in finland!

Looks like it is built to do some cornering on the track, am I right?

I think that scoop is diy by ex owner but I'm not sure. It looks good but it's not working right. Air filter takes air only those scoop holes and I think that holes are too close hood. So the air jump over the scoop holes (You know what Imean).
The car is built for street use but maybe litlebit more track than a drag use.

Welcome aboard! Your english needs little. Some of us that grew up and went to school in a country that speak english need more work. Your doing fine.
Excellent looking scoop. Post a picture from the front of the car so I can see into the scoop. It dosen't look to bad for function.
 
Here is pick front of the car. The car came Finland 1973 so it might been used taxi. Now we are only driving it summer time.
I know Kako, he likes 4d mopars too.

Nice shot. I do not think the air is going over the scoop. I do think the center can be cut out for more air and less resistance.
What are those 2 plates infront of the scoop and on the sides of the hood?
 
Those plates covers holes in the hood, (warm air can go out). You'r right, maybe it would be better if cut center piece away and holes front of scoop can they disturb air flow in the scoop?
