Here are a few pix from the Arizona Kruse auction we attended today....:)

Most cars did not meet the seller's "reserve", but a few bargains were there for the taking......

Here is a 70 Chally Hemi Vert allegedly owned in the past by Reggie Jackson.

Sits way too high in the rear IMO, but I'd take it in a heartbeat.........

Love that Demon.

It was bid up to $11K and the seller's reserve was $14K

340 under the hood, but a "C" code car....has been on local craigslist here for a year or so.

Here is a 70 Hemi Cuda Vert....Clone.

Was bid to $50K and "reserve not met"

I lifted the paper covering the VIN & there was not one there...WTH..:thumbdow:

Nice pics and thank you.

The only way to post text between pics is to host the photos somewhere then add the text between the image tags. :) I use photobucket as it's free and easy to deal with.

That Hemi Cuda convert. looks like one that used to be here in Washington. It had a state issued VIN because the dash mounted VIN tag he got from a wrecking yard back in the day didn't match the core support and trunk lip VIN's.

Not a Mopar, but they had 50 of these Hertz cars for sale here. Supposedly only 500 built for Hertz special for their fleet of rentals. Signed & #'d on the dash plaques by Carroll....8) 2 sold today for $37,500

They all were '07 convertables....kinda hard to tell from the pix.

That butterscotch demon could be the same car that a seller was trying to pass off as an H code 340 Demon about 6 months ago for, I think, 28K. It's either that or it has a twin out there. It was in craigslist for quite a while and oh yea I love that AMX.

Purple 55 Chevy Wagon.......BIG Viper motor :toothy10:

Really nice ride that only bid to $51K....no sale.

67 Dart Vert....I don't know what this sold for or how high the bidding went.

You could get this info later this week on the Kruse website when they disclose the results of the auction.

WOW. I wish my '55 Chevy looked like that. Never gonna happen. Where do these people get the money? I'm on a working man's budget. Translated...that means broke!. lol

Here's a little Amphicar that sold for $23,200.

Make sure you bring your life-jacket....LOL :tongue9: :poke:

Ditto that steptoe....It was a beautifully done car. The color was stunning, but subtle. I might not have given it a second look if not for the Viper motor :glasses7: I am not a big fan of the mid 50's Chebbies.....too many of them around.

We left after this car went over the block. Had kinda been waiting to see what it would bring....

Bid to $11K....reserve was around $15K

The car was on ebay a few times also....Suppose to be a solid car with no rust issues ever.....Came close to buying it a year ago...

The demon is the car i was talking about on ebay a few times..

HAUK67, This Demon was also at the Russo & Steele auction in '08. We went to that auction specifically to see the car. Pretty sure seller wanted mid 20's or so then.

It has an aftermarket shifter on the floor, with the column shifter still in place. The color is not Bahama Yellow....it's more of a Gold color. The interior is a dark brown bench seat.

The inside & outside door handle chrome is marginal at best.

Overall, the car is nice, but I personally don't like the color and it's a 340 Clone.
