ralley rims weld ?

Hi folks
Years ago I sent a pair of sbp ralley rims to Stockton wheel to be converted to a 15 inch by 8 inch wide rim bs is about 4 3/8. I have now noticed that the welds on the back side of the rim is in 4 places every 90 degrees about 5 inches long then there is a spot about the same length with no weld. now this is right above the 10 half circles of the inner rim to the outer lip section. should I be concerned if there is not a complete welded circle? on a couple of the non welded sections I can see light between the inner and outer rim.

A continuous weld could be a continuous crack.
I would consider how tough steel wheels are in comparison to the oversized alloy wheels on the road today. No worries.

Factory rallys are welded the same

Stockton knows their stuff, and the factory welds are like that on mine.
