Removing The Lean Burn

HAS ANY ONE ONE HERE REMOVE THE LEAN BURN SYSTEM OFF A SLANT 6 I HAVE ALL THE PARTS 2BAR.CARB AND MANIFOLD ECU BALLEST RES.WIRE HARNESS HEADERS ECT BUT I HATE WIRING AND SUCK AT IT ANY HELP OR ANY BODY IN NJ THAT CAN DO THIS CHANGE OVER HOW MUCH TO DO IT OR I CAN DO SOME POWDERCOATING ECT THANKS FOR THE HELP:thumbup:

remove the carb replace with an earlier slant holly 1920 carb other then that im not sure search over on slantsix.org for any more, there are alot of people that have done this swap

I have removed Lean Burns from 8 cylinders. 6's are no different except in he distributor. Basicly, you'll need to find a wire that is off with the key and on with the key in both on positions of the key. (Start and run)

Everything from there is just a matter of bolting it down where you want it to be.

The distributor will need a ported vacuum source so a new carb is in order like 1966 was saying. The Holley is an excellent choice for this.
