Adjusted secondary linkage to open earlier and now I can hear the air suck in when I open her up. No bog and runs good but have I went too far or not far enough? I still don't have the roar I am looking for. I have been adjusting all summer and am getting close.
FYI, I also have adjusted the AVS spring tension to 2 turns past closed.

Well, I would not have messed with the linkage. You got balls.
The air door can be opened up as early as the engine can handle it, to the point of bog or performance falls off.

If you nail it and it bogs down....to far.
If you take it to the track and open it up earlier and performance falls off, IE slower times...you have gone to far.

Best "ROAR" is heard from a T-Q. Open air cleaner. And made more pernouced with a high ratio because the roar or I should say the draw of air is larger and moving quicker due to the higher gear turning more. And quickly.
