I don't want to hijack this guys thread but you sure won't be close to 80 MPH. I really wanted to get this car (64 Val Vert 225 w/ 3 on the tree and 3.23) on the road to experience it pure stock and go from there but once it was obvious the engine was locked up, it had to came out and apart. Then I found it hard to put it back together without making some improvements. I'm thinking my "improvements" will be good for 2 seconds. I used to love to watch the /6 class races at the Nats but they don't do that anymore. One thing about being in Ohio is that I have 5 strips within 1-1/2 hours of me. All quarter miles too. None of that 1/8 mile California weak stuff.
