that damn back tire... apparently I didn't have the cover on well enough, blew right off in the middle of a pass. :eek:ops:

Well my garage paint job is also a 20 footer. Will have to do for now, for me.
You ride is looking good. NOW GET IT RUNNING!!!!

Thanks. She'll be running soon. Just need to get the little stuff back together, I have a line on a complete ford 9" with disc brakes out of an early mustang for a killer price.

Made some seat brackets and finished wiring the Alternator/regulator and battery relocation.

It has risen...

mufflers.....and yes there is a leak.:burnout:

Carpet Kit will be here monday, Windshield gasket showed up. Time to work on the interior panels.

I really need to get rid of the chrome air cleaner..

Read this from beginning. This is a great build! Love the look and sound. I'm subscribed!

Still need to paint the trunk lid and hood...Although I do plan on a fiberglass hood at one point, not sure when that will happen. I'm still searching for a viable rear end for a decent price.

The housing and axles showed up today. So now i'm ripping the old pos with crappy gears out and putting this one in with the disc brakes. I have a 489 chunk with 3.23's that I can use till I find another one with the gears I want.

Tomorrow i'll pick up some Competition engineering shocks and new u bolts at summit. It's nice living close to one of their locations.

Caliper brackets didn't exactly fit the calipers that were with the kit. But what do you expect from a cheapo brake kit. A little grinding and they line up.
Caliper was hitting on the lower portion of the bracket -

grind a little off -

and everything fits.

Drive shaft is SOOO close to fitting. At least they only need to shorten it a little bit. I also need to figure out what backspacing to use, the old wheels are 4" but a quick mock up with out the caliper shows them being a bit too tight on the outside. May have to run 4.5/5.0" Backspace if I want to fit 245's or 255's.

More stuffff...

Well, the stock springs were pretty flat and it was draggin ***, so I put in some superstock springs. I used 2 driver side springs to have an even stance.

Welp... The engine has been running funny for a while. Could never get it to run quite right and there was the odd vibration at lower rpms. I decided to yank the 360 and take a gander inside to see if there were any major problems (aside from the blowby I didn't like).
After some inspection of the crank and rod bearings, looks like something made it's way through the oil system. hard enough to score the bearings but not score the crank:BangHead:. Still spin by hand just fine too, but I won't put it back together like that. So engine was shipped off to the machine shop.
It has been almost a month since the block was dropped off. Still no word. But in the mean time I guess I can fix my fuel system and get stuff ready.

Oh, forgot to mention the vibration was probably caused by the bent B & M flextplate... Don't know how it got bent, but it did.
