It depends on the model year AND if the factory put at least one sheet that matches the car inside it.

Some cars have as many as 5 sheets, so there are multiple places to check.

 

[65 Dartman]

early cars (at least through 65) did not show a VIN on the broadcast sheet- just the Special Order Number which will also be found on the core support.

Did you also check in the rear seat back?

Normal places to check;


Taped to the back side / top of the glove box insert.
Under the front bucket seats in the springs
Under the bench seat bottom
Inside the bench seat back / backs
Inside the bucket seat backs
Under the rear seat bottom
In the rear seat back.
Under the package tray (speaker shelf)
Under the carpet

Less common places include inside the headliner & under the carpet.

(not all of these apply to convertibles of course)
