Just got a new edelbrock six pack intake and there is some strange hardware in the box. The parts are listed in the manual but no other mention of what its for. Anyone have any idea?
I don't recall ever getting any hardware with any intake manifold before.

FP1 shoulder studs
F262 shoulder studs
moveable stops
capscrews, washers and cotter pins.

A friend got the same thing and he didn’t know what it was for either.

Got a couple of pictures?

Looks like cable pivots or something. The small ecentric ones are strange. I just cant imagine where this stuff would be needed on a six pack and why it would come with the manifold.

I have a new 440 six-pack intake in the box, I need to open it and see if that linkage is in there.
I bought it new a few years ago.

I
.
Look at the picture in post 9. It's for mechanical linkage. You just need to buy the rod.

I have never had a 6 pack set up , but do have a bunch of the same stuff for universal cable set ups , looks just like it , altho the size of the holes are kinda hard to tell in the pics , looks too small for accel. rods .

Still does not make sense why they would include this with the manifold. If its a mechanical linkage setup why dont they throw in the rods too.
I have the FiTech setup for it so I wont be using it anyways, just curious.

Your PM box is full.

Ya wanna sell it? The have a mechanical six pack set up.
