OK. Time to take a trip down Memory Lane. I picked up a 3-cd set several years ago titled "Legendary Hot Rod Hits" and it brought back sooo many memories from the glory days of muscle cars and cruisin' Whittier Blvd. in SoCal.

Kashmir - Zep

Now, for bonus points.... In what mid 80's movie was it incorrectly implied to be on side 2 of Zepplin 4?

For some strange reason the car goes a bit faster when I hear Radar Love by Golden Earring
Or Sammy's I can't drive 55
Some Jackson Browne Running on Empty for slow cruising

Fast Times At Ridgemont High

Wasn't he just told to play side 2? I always thought the kid was just stupid & played the wrong side. But I still like Kashmir.

Does anybody know who did the song "SS 396"? Flip side was "Corvair Baby". Not that I'm a big Chevy guy, I just remember a friend of mine had that 45 (remember those?) in 1976.

Little deuce coupe. But I like to change the words to. Just a little dart swinger you don't know what I got.

Cant believe this one has been missed, Not only is it widely credited as the first Rock & Roll record, it sbout what is widely considered to be the first muscle car. Anybody wanna fill in the blank? I'll wait an hour or so, if no-one has it, I'll post the answer.

Hot rod Lincoln
My mom bought her house from Charlie Ryan when I was in high school. He had the car right across the street in his garage. 32 5 window coupe with Lincoln 12 cylinder
He didn't drive it much sold it three times and bought it back three times.

maybe not a hot rod song, but a great car song, how about Brand New Cadillac by the Clash?

Lil' Cobra????beach boy's???
