I have a close friend that is on his death bed and they don't expect him to survive the next 24 hours. We have been very close friends since 1977 and have traveled the country buying parts for my old cars. We have been all the way to just 20 miles outside Washington DC to get parts for my 1927 Buick. He has lived on my property since 1996 because as soon as I bought this track of land he wanted to be near me. He is just like the brother I never had. I have know this day was comming and thought I was mentally prepared for it but I am a wreck now and it hasn't happened yet. Today he can no longer talk or drink. He opens his eyes when someone comes in the room and then they go shut again. I thank God for such a great friend having been in my life.

I ask God to go ahead and take him so he will suffer no longer.

I know were your at bud go spend as much time as you can with him you will be glad you did.and talk about sum of the things he liked............Artie

My thoughts and prayers are with you today my friend. Hope the rest of this year will be a great one, for you and your family....

Sorry for your circumstances on this day.

Remember that dying is a part of living that we all will face at some part in our lives.

Like the others have said go and be by his side and reminisce about your journeys together.

Prayers for the both of you and your families.

No words can take away the pain you are feeling. Just know you both are in my thoughts and prayers and I hope his pain and suffering is very soon gone.
Remember all the fun trips and times you both shared.

Paying the last visit to an old friend is hard beyond words. I'll pray to give you both strenth in these final hours.

Not easy to loose a good friend, may he rest in peace.

Prayers sent for both of you. Spend the time with him that you can. If the tables were turned, he'd do the same for you.
