I also used evaporust on the chrome exhaust tips. These were really bad and I can't believe how good they came out with some elbow grease. I let them soak, then hit them with the wire brush a bunch of times. They aren't perfect but a huge improvement and I won't have to buy a new set.

The tips turned out real nice.. be sure to get a coat of wax on those

I got my PCS front end kit and went and got new front wheel bearings and brake hoses. I took apart the drivers side disks and evoporusted/painted them with some high temp black cermanic paint. I will button this side up friday and do the same to the other side. Saturday my friend is putting in the new poly bushings and the ball joints.

The last pic is a before pic.

Brakes have been restored now. I put all new wheels bearings and seals. The brake pads, rotors and calipers were fine and looked pretty new. I got new brake hoses also. Making some progress. Now I just have to get my bushings pressed in and paint and put together the front suspension. Hopefully tomorrow my friend will put the bushings and ball joints in.

My friend is putting in my bushings for upper/lower control arms and balljoints. He is also welding the lower control arm stiffing plates on. He is welding the seams on my K member. He saw the stock welds on the K member and thought it would be a good idea to get them all welded up. I will get pics soon.

I have all the parts now to get my front suspension back together. Got new torsion bars 1.03"

Got my lower control arms back from being reinforced and my k member is all welded up. I have to clean them up and paint them. All my new bushings are in. It is time to start putting the front suspension back together. Then hopefully paint and engine and trans. Got lots of parts lately too, new dash bezels, headlight bezels, etc.

Nice work buddy! Keep at it! Everything is coming together! And thanks for the beer at the show, I was THIRSTY!

I also used engine paint I like how it holds up no paint fade,no worries about it peeling,I also used it in the rear of the car.Nice work by the way.

Yeah it seems like it dries a lot harder then regular paint. It is ceramic high temp stuff. I used it on my trans and rear end too. Thanks...

I got some yearone headlight bezels for $147 shipped. They look great and about half the price of others I have seen.

I ordered my Stage 3 Firm feel Power Steering box today. This is a very important piece for my suspension upgrades. I can't wait. I really want to get some bilsteins but I am going to have to wait. They are pretty spendy.

Nice work! Is the vinyl roof going back on? I think I just sold your twin...

Nice car. Mine is actually W1 white. It is a stripe delete car but I am going to put a black stripe on it. The vinyl top is actually newly installed and just dirty so it will be staying.

So I started putting the front suspension back together and I have been working two jobs so I have bought some new parts. Got this today. Stage 3 Firm Feel Power Steering Box! Man this thing was spendy but I am very excited to put it on. I hear great things about these. I also ordered some upper control arms from Badart.

Worked on the steering column and the dash today. Clean and painted the column and took off the wrap on it. It has a huge separation in the wood grain, oh well. Tomorrow I am going to clean and sand the dash then mask it off real good and paint it flat trim black. I have new dash pieces from BE&A and I also got a nice AM radio for the time being until I can afford a AM/FM. I have all the dash chrome pieces in evaporust. Here are some pics. I also finished the undercoating on the front fenders.
