Good use of a Camaro....

Sorry, but I must disagree, thats a horrible thing to do to any classic musclecar, even if it is a chevy.

That is really cool!! I wish they showed the stock side view more, the SS side looks like a typical ugly modified version. Alot of work went into that, again, really cool!

Man i feel the same way Camaro (1st gen) and Firebirds are still way cool to me.
I did own a 67 ram air Firebird triple black you know back when i was 18.

I would love to do that to a Superbird or Hemicuda just too see the purists freak out!! Except I would do one half restored 100% perfect and the other side would be left alone, pre-resto....dents, rust, mouse nests, dirt & grime, now that would be cool!!!!

that would be REALLY cool to see ! i think that would be awesome. 40 + years of abuse and neglect on one side and showroom fresh on the other and completely functional. great idea Keith hmmmm....

Well, I love my mopar but I am a classic car fanatic. I like them all and I do like the early camaro's a lot, I think it kinda looks pretty cool and would make for great conversation but I personally would never do something like that to any muscle car, just not my style.

Now, when i was reading the comments, I thought they set it on fire or something.... I... I actually think that's kinda cool >_> I mean. The car was gonna be junked, otherwise, most likely. And they did something pretty awesome with it. Batshit insane, but awesome.

I think it's dumb. It looks dumb, and the car aint worth a **** now.
But besides that, how could anyone not like a 67-8 Camaro? They're great cars whether you're a Mopar guy or not.

Did you look at the under construction pics of the hood? All that work for something that stupid.

Meh, it's a better use for a Camaro than actually driving a Camaro.

Turns out I have a friend that recently retired from State Farm. He told me that any car that is a total loss will never be repaired and resold. They either go to the crusher, or to a parting vendor.
Having said that, this Camaro had 2 choices; either go to the crusher, or be "repaired" like this. Soooooooooo I guess this "restoration" was this car's only stay of excecution.

i still dont like camaros. there llike a butthole. everyone has one.

exactly. when in doubt, buy a camaro and be like everyone else, and make sure it has 1 of the 16,000,000 small blocks in it.

Thanks for the answers.
I don't know about where you two guys live, but here in very congested CT, there are very few 67-8 Camaros around anymore.

Have a good night.
