Head light and wiper switch removal

Looks like there's a weird tool for this and I can't seem to find any info on how it's down on getting the wiper and headlight switch out. I'm going to make a custom dash insert but I want to retain the stock switches in it.

I used snap ring pliers this morning. Worked great.

Here is a place to get the tool. Snap ring and needle nose pliers will work but can/do chew up the nuts a little.

Great thanks, didn't know that they screwed off, thought they snapped off for some reason haha

I used a pair of needle noise myself till i seen the tool on ebay, wish i used the right tool. mine can off but was hard.
