A specific member,reminded me of someone,a long time ago.I love Deep Purple! Fell in love,with Jon Lord's first lead in,on "Perfect Strangers".He reminded me recently,how outstanding this band is.Would love feedback.....

I like a few of their songs but one of my favorite all time favorites is from TOMMY BOLIN as a solo artist" post toastee" note many know about it'd for some reason but its pure genius to me
 
I had tickets to a Deep Purple concert in the old Omni in Atlanta. This was in 1990 I think but Ritchie Blackmore broke his finger and the show was cancelled. I still regret not seeing them live.
 
I had Fireball, In Rock, made in japan, machiene head, Burn was the last album I liked. actually fireball was very good.
 
I like some of their stuff. Haven't listened to much in years. Thanks for the videos

Ritchie Blackmore is one of the greatest guitar players ever !!! I like deep Purple but I like Rainbow more !!!

1974- I was driving my first car ( 71 Cricket) with Machine Head playing on a cassette deck. I thought I was king of the world!!
 
Highway Star..around 70-71 my brother had a 340 Duster, Deep Purple in the under dash 8 track belting out my favorite ''road song'',,,to this day...................

My very first concert and I did not know who they was back in life picking
cherries in Michigan, Smoke on the water is a well known song and I bet
I have plugged the juke box hundreds of times back in the day to hear Smoke on the water .
