I was wondering if anyone had any info on production numbers on cars that came with this color. I have researched that only 100-150 340 Dusters were made in this color
Post up any A Bodies with this color
These are some of the only pics I can find of these

This is how my car rolled out of the factory except it had 14 inch rallyes.
And the last pic is how it looks now And I have been able to uncover most of the factory paint where I have tried on the 1/4. the car wasnt prepped well when previously painted and only has a few burn through marks where they sanded it

the factory never kept records. there is no actual breakdown in colors. any information out there is pure speculation of cars that are reported to registries and such as being painted a certain color. most are recorded as percentages

Thats what i figured Lance thanks for clearin that up :blob:

My '73 Dart was this color when I got it. It's semi flat black now . My neighbor always called it chicken s4!t green!

I recently picked up a all original Duster 340 JF1 with the V21 Hood treatment. I've found official Paint % breakdowns for 71 and 72...nothing for 73 yet...But 1 mopar judge quoted only 250 Duster 340's were painted JF1...So unofficially that would be 1.7%.

I like that color. Not sure I like the white vs black - but it's different and cool to me.

My '73 Duster was originally JF1 when my dad bought it in 1976, he hated the color so much that he painted the car as soon as he got it home.

It changed colors frequently through the 70's and early 80's until he painted it gold (a custom mix based on a mopar color) it's been gold for over 30 years now and I own it now. It's due for some minor body work and new paint finally, Im not a fan of the JF1 either, so I'll probably repaint the car in the same Gold color, or maybe Hemi Orange or Plum Crazy Purple

That's awesome David. My Car was painted Plum crazy eventually too after bein painted red, black, and silver

I personally love the color and wouldn't hesitate to repaint it that color

Actually, my name is Chris.

Here's what it looks like now, actually nothing on the car has been touched since the early 1980's, except a tune-up, brake hoses, and a starter, and I added a tachometer (picture taken this summer, when I was using it as a daily driver)

Factory 340 Car (the engine block itself still matches...lol), with A/C, Power Steering, Disc Brakes, Sway Bar, Moonroof, 3/4 Vinyl Top, Light Package, etc.

In the early 80's my dad replaced the vinyl top and blocked off the original moonroof (still in the car), added an E-Body Console & Shifter, FMJ Spindles, Pin Style Charger Calipers & 11.75" Rotors, and Coilovers on the front.

I am the owner of the JF1 340 Duster doing the burn out. That was a Saturday morning in 1993 just after cleaning it. I'm new to this sight. Wondering how anybody got to post this picture of my car. Yes I still own it.

Hi Frank,
Welcome to the site. Could you post some more photos of the car?
I found the picture while trying to research the color and attempting to find any that would look similar to the way mine would have when rolled off the assembly line
