why I HATE

-
I agree, my favorite color from ma mopar. I'm painting my 1969 coronet 9passenger wagon F8 green.
well, I do have the funds to go buy a mustang ,camaro or challenger, or a new p/u. I just don`t see anything there that floats my boat so there cry babies! L O L

Well so far, I haven't seen anybody come out and say they HATE the new Challenger here. I for one love the cars.............but I am disappointed because of what they could have been so far. Hopefully the Hellcat engine will change that, but all we have to go on is past experiences with Chrysler, which are not very good.

better to do nothing than do something wrong, I always say! They are all too much money to second guess later. Now a 75' Monaco maybe? HA HA:coffee2:

Regarding the OP:

RE: the product: I like the Challengers, Chargers, ( I also liked the Magnum Wagons)Trucks, and Wrangler based Jeeps... I have no use for the rest of what Fiat/Chrysler produces, that includes the 300.

If any blind loyalist wants to blindly defend Dodge dealers, simply because they sell Dodges, bring it. There are Crookes selling all brands of cars, MoPar is, most certainly, no exception, and YES, I have direct and personal experience with a ripoff Dodge dealer, on three separate occasions, So, come on, come tell me how "above board" they all are.

I don't like em, but I don't like the the old E bodys either. It's B bodys and A bodys for me. I think it's the hood is too much longer than the trunk lid.

it is what it is. I'd take a pig of a mopar over the most recognizable car that performs better any day. The kids in there foreign cars may like your mustangs but i dont. But hey it's hot rodding. Oh wait no.. You just bought a 600hp car off the lot. I'm impressed, no really i am your credit is better than mine! At least challenger and charger are available. If we didn't have those in the mopar camp we would be left with rams and neons. No thanks...

amen !

I did it! I finally really found something I do hate about the Challenger! It happened just last weekend for the third year in a row! You go to a Mopar show, and there are at least 20 Challengers you are forced to walk through first, before you get to the classic stuff!
Even when I owned one, I was irritated by that. I said to more than one guy, "If I wanted to come and look at a bunch of Challengers, I would go to the dealer" Mustang and Camaro shows are the same, The clubs seem to be dominated by these type of guys, which is why I refuse to belong to their club, and don't ever show one of my 60's cars!

So there! If you look hard enough, a guy can always find something to hate!:happy1:
I am with ya !

Exactly. Well in between there were prowlers and the crossfires... I think a fat challenger and a 4Dr charger is better than those cars representing Chrysler any day.

I love how some folks around here put on the big man/big chest and protect their mopar love like we just did their sister or something, give it a rest. God help you If you did some personal touches to your ride. You've got skeletons in your closet just like the rest of us, only, some have the balls to lighten up a little. Some never graduate high school I guess. That's why I hate.

Shaved markers,Hemi hood scoop installed. This is the first car,I didn't shave the door handles on. Wanna go,to the track eventually. New cars are bad ***,I just don't care for them in hot rod mode. Takes away ,the individuality.

I hate reading all this bullshit, on a MOPAR A-BODY forum.

I like the new Challenger...I just wish they had marketed them more to the performance crowd, and not the 50+ car show crowd. It's too heavy, down on power in stock form, and there's not near as much support for modding compared to the GM/Ford offerings.

I agree completely. I'm not knockin the cars, I am simply saying they could be so much better. They easily have 1K pounds they could have been born without.

Also.....what would your opinion of the Crossfire be had they come with the 5.7 Hemi? I sorta like the little cars.

THIS is the very reason I have not been on here in a couple of weeks.....and why I will be leaving again.....not that anyone cares....as soon as I hit this here button....

Glad I got you on Facebook.

What have you actully, really run yourself ? You pump enough happy ,horsesyshite. . The fact, you are whining says enough....

YES! YES! KEEP IT ROLLING! This forum needed this for awhile! NO harsh feelings, just folks having their liberty at Rant'n about the new chally's. Stink'n Challengers! Underachieving pigs! Take me back to 1995 when the neon 1st came out! Yes, those were the years to be hold..... :)

Wasn't there a version of the Neon that would almost hand the new Challenger it's ***?

I love it, churning the Hate! One thing for sure, Ford wishes they had a competitor for the more luxurious and better built Challenger! And Dodge dreams to make a cheap, lower weight competitive race car to compete with the equally low quality cheesy Mustang. Then everybody will be happy! Do you build a car to satisfy two market segments, or one?
