Fuel pump went on my Dart

Edelbrock mechanical fuel pump, less than a month old. I wanted to switch to an electronic pump but my cousin the mechanic said a mechanical would be fine.

Once the car was running it ran fine, but trying to start the car the fuel pump just didn't seem to have pressure?

Got the car started but it wasn't running the best. Drove fine to my cousin's shop but wouldn't start again. Luckily the pump is under warranty....

No big problem my pump is still under warranty so it's free.

I was joking about taking the cousin's fuel pump that worked on your car and recommended the mechanical pump.

The defective pump was swapped out free of charge and the Dart is running perfectly again!
