What the..?...How in the hell..?...I got a 50 mph push start across an intersection in Dover one year and didn't even scratch the POR paint on my Dakota tube bumper,...This does not speak well about the integrity of the new Dodges,....

Rat Rod!!!! Oh yea! Half of it is already channeled and lowered.

I call :bs:......just saying...

That is an easy fix ( frame swap ), just not for the average Joe blow but he still is asking too much money

OK, so essentially everything from the back end of the cab to the rear bumper needs to go. That might be less that $30K in parts ( maybe). How many here have a frame jig that they can use free of charge? I don't.

My opinion: That's a parts truck now, and a future rolling group of issues and problems for any back yard Billy who is going to repair that by hand.

There is a reason the insurance company is "totalling out the truck, and, I, personally, have no need to take on a project that will end up costing over $50K before it's done, and you simply end up with a 2 year old truck for the price on a brand new 2015 3500 Cummins dually.

It was hit by a train. :D

I don't think anyone was in it when it was hit don't see any bent steering wheel or teeth in the dash.

Yeah EZ fix -nothing few hundred hours and 10K can't fix

The guy is being truthful in that a used frame is roughly 2 gees, frame can be changed in a day and a half with the right equipment and experience ( easily ) used bed assy might be another 1500 bucks, doubt differential has any issues nor springs but I would be looking at the trans pretty hard.

Assuming no major drivetrain issues that truck could be fixed for less than 5 gran.

Truck is still only worth 12-15 in my opinion though because I am not figuring the labor.

Geico for instance is now totaling most vehicles at 50 %, its been mid to late 70s for as long as I can remember, I am sure other insurance comp. will follow suit. The cars are bringing more for salvage and the carrier dosent assume any future liabilities and that is why the vehicles are totaling sooner now than in the past.

yeah, Whatever,....I was there, you weren't,....It was another Dakota that hit me,...heard him comin, let off the brakes just at impact,....poor basturd started leakin his vital fluids, and we both drove off....best not to hang around after havin a cold one or two at the track...

...guessin it don't look toooo bad after gettin hit by a train.......

New poll: How many gallons of bondo will it take?

By the time you have enough Bondo on it to make it look straight it will sag back down from the weight of the Bondo and then you'll have to add more Bondo and ....

One ot two 55 gal drums?
I wonder what it woul look like if he had a 2" ball in the reciever.

I like how the description calls the truck "Good" and he's still calling it a nice truck.
It's a parts truck now, especially if it's being driven. That thing is at a nasty angle. That rear suspension has to be sprung and the drive shaft, if it's a 2 piece, the carrier brg is off the frame. If it's a single shaft, then it's got to be at a funky angle. The only way that thing is moving under it's own power is if the rear shaft is pulled and the front axle is pulling the truck. I'd like to see more pics of the truck, the bed seems folded up, but without better pics, this is all a S.W.A.G.!

Well, it needs a cab, box, and a frame....

So basically, you get an engine and interior...

It's easy to say to do something, it's harder to do it...

Now go try to do it, but pay me the balance of what my truck is worth while you do all the work to put it back together and break even....

It is parts, the best thing is the oil and gas sticker on the side.
It is a old beat company truck before it was wrecked.
