Positive thoughts needed,had interview, now waiting for reply

Hey all, seems like I am asking for +ve thoughts for interviews quite a bit. This one will be back home for me, or at least a hell of a lot closer. Right where Lori and I wanna finish our careers and grow old(er) together It'll be 2 years in April since I have left home. Been trying to say the least. Any positive thoughts Im hoping will push the vote my way

I'll send you some if you send me some , I had an interview with the City of Victoria on Monday , hopefully I'll be doing small renos and repairs in the city buildings around town .

LOL, no no selfies, not this time anyway. Im hoping to hear in the next few days. Timing couldnt be better as my apartment lease ends the 1st of May and they asked me to renew..... I wanna go home get **** organized, and set up play pens in the garage and be a Papa.

Thanks Wayne, Lori has been an absolute rock thru all this. She has listened to me piss n moan *****, you name it throughout the past 2 years. Not sure she wants to see my mug full time now LOL

Cannucky make sure you negotiate to get your August Moparfest off

My son just got word this morning that he got a job that he interviewed on Monday. He gets to have a trial period to feel things out... Keep the momentum rolling....
 
hope everything works and for both of you. I never liked to work out of town. The last company I worked for would call me in to say they needed me to go a job site out of town. I would ask them who would do all that I was doing and they said they would just have to hire someone so I would say "you may as well hire them to go out of town because I am not going". It worked because I only stayed out of town two nights in 12 1/2 years. I was in Operating Engineers then.
 
Whatever you say.. don't say "one is too many and a thousand is not enough" Interviewers just don't seem to get the humor in it !

Anyway Luck and one for the road.
 
Thanks all, the positive thoughts helped!! I got a verbal confirmation today,,,Paperwork tomorrow! I wont give notice till then but looks like Im coming home!
