That doesn't sound good. I would be heading for medical attention, blisters, if there are a lot, can lead to infection real quick.

GO TO A DOCTOR!!! Burns can get infected very easy and cause problems.

Largest organ of your body? Your skin.

Pad must have been pre underwriters lab qualifying.
New ones won't get hot enough to burn ya like that.

can feel the joints not skin , anther thing is that the section with the blisters is thin , all the skin in that area was ripped off , was open muscle and bone ,skin graft covers it now but it is MUCH thinner almost 1/4 inch dif in level between good and skin graft area

mightt be or skin is sensitive in that area ;never happened until the pad moved during the night
anyhow pad is now in garbage/recycling

All I can add is that I have a co-worker, he's in a chair. He got a couple of bed sores on his backside, his doctor has him doing a lot of lying on his side to get them healed up. It's a serious condition, make sure you get it checked out and FULLY HEAL so you don't get an infection. Good luck!

You have my sympathy.

Thanks for the reminder, heating pads might seem harmless but they can really hurt you.

Don't know what to say. I ain't a doctor.

and I most definitely wont have a look at them

but considering where these blisters are, and how hard it will be to keep an eye on them, yeah, I would go see a doctor.
come to think of it, take a bus there so you don't need to sit on it the whole way there

PIA need to use a lift to get in tub , or I don't get out . Legs don;t work very well

Ok, sorry about your limited mobility. That must be tough to deal with.... :banghead:

What about the "old people" tubs that have an opening door in the side for them to get in and out? I see them advertised on tv sometimes...

The one that I have can make it uncomfortable on high, I sometimes have to set it to medium because it starts to hurt.... :violent1:

Rather spend the money on going fast than smelling pretty . I have a lift , but for sore joints I ain't going through the ordeal to get in and out the tub , and it is an ordeal .
