Stop in for a cup of coffee

Not sure what that was so looked it up. Cool looking little bike. I just got done putting this 85 together.

Hm. My drive shaft has a slip yoke. The outgoing shaft sticks out maybe 1/4" and has splines.

Isn't there an internal seal? It's a 727 in case they work differently.

There should be a seal at the end of the tailshaft that seals the outside of the yoke. I am not sure if you can just put something like a bag over it and tape it to hold the fluid in.

Thanks for the warning. I guess I could remove the yoke from the drive shaft. A little more disassembling never killed anyone. :D

It was a board tracker back in the 1950's in Hawaii. I am pretty sure it is a factory prototype since it is a nickel frame and the headstamp on the frame is e256, cannot find any info on it. I was told it is a 52 from the original owner, but cannot confirm it. I am sure it will be a pain to get registered since I only have a bill of sale from 20 or so years ago from Hawaii and I am sure the gentleman is long gone by now. The motors I have are all 200cc modified and a few extra cases that have holes blown out of the tranny area. He definitely beat the hell out of it.

Damn, that's the first bike I ever tried to ride. Fun little bikes. My pap had a T15 that we used to cruise around on his couple of acres.

You would not have a oem chain guard do you? That's the last piece I need (I think)

Unfortunately that bike is long gone. My gram sold it 3 years ago, when my pap passed away to cover some moving costs.

Dartnabout is big into the older bikes.
Later on in life, I really want to get into a bobber harley type, but I currently have a nonmoving duster to work on

I've got a Honda VFR 750 that hasn't moved in ten years that's only taking up space. In the middle of a repair, unfortunately, so selling it would mean giving a lot of money away.

When I was 18 I chopped a 67 Trophy 500. Savior rear section, Springer, Cams, etc. Got some old pics somewhere. But I'd have to scan them
