Just got my dash pad back from the upholstery shop... what do yall think?

It is "custard ostrich" the closest swatch out of hundreds, to the original color... oh and I got extra fabric to cover my package tray.

I actually like it. Warning do not park it in a bad neighborhood.

any shag carpet to go with it!????? a pair of boots made out of the real bird gets kinda expensive!!! now do the seats in imitation gator!!!!

you asked for it!!! LOL

Seriously doing the whole interior with that would be cool.

That's cool stuff. I would use it as trim though and something smooth for your main texture.

I am just doing the dash and package tray in it. maybe later, the sunvisors.

I am eventually going to do real wood veneers where the wood grain bs is.

Lololol. I love it. Plain gold brown is no fun, this is the best part of having a play car.

It is a 4 door gold with black top. And a beige on gold interior.
This is how i roll when not a race car build.

As long as you like it...my family's '66 came with ostrich-grain inserts in the door panels. It would bother me to see it on the dash top. But looking forward to see your finished product. Nice to see something different.

I love it!!! Very creative and different. There is way worse things that have been done to interiors and this sure as hell ain't one of them.

looks horrible looks like your own personal booger collection on the dash. your car

if I had that interior, I would go for a ride in it, and pack a "soul lunch", Vienna sausages, soda crackers, moon pie, and RC Cola!!!!!!! lol

Not to shabby looking for a custom job, it is different. The top stitching could have matched a bit better, but it's hard to get a great match with today's products. I know how hard that can be since we are searching for an aqua color to match the new leather set that just got ordered.
My boss just got done doing a red ostrich and Gator for a 64 Lincoln convertible that was owned by an person that couldn't use leather due to his religion. It actually came out better than I had thought it would since he also went with a deep rich red carpet and a dark beige top to offset the gold and red.
