We got 112 killed with firearms in Chicago alone! In January!!
a city, that ironically, bans handguns and has some of the toughest laws on the books.......
Don't think it's quite that high for a month, but...I think there are a LOT of cities with annual number higher than that.
officially, 51 murdered but it doesnt say the cause
Does say 234 shooting incidents though with 288 victims

Man....Whew... Put a thermostat and housing on a 2010 Focus today. You would not believe where they put this thing. Alldata said to pull the Fan Module and A/c compressor out of the way.. But I was able to sneak it out and back without all that work. Still took 2hrs. Alldata says 1.9. One of Furds better ideas I guess...

It was more humorous than factual... But the point still landed.. I find it odd that our cities with tough gun control have high rates of gun violence.. Out here it's nice because everybody has a gun or ten..

not a fan of the damn things - the wife's '01 was very reliable and did get good gas mileage, but man what a little **** box... no insulation to speak of - SO noisy on the road and just such an obvious econo-box. I was scared to ride in the passenger seat.
