Supercharged 6.4L in a 64 Valiant

Picked up parts from powdercoater. Started assembling the rear end. I got all of the parts from Quick Performance.

Read somewhere that you should use a sealant on the back side of the studs that hold the chunk.

Sealed the housing with "Right Stuff" sealant and dropped it in.

Installed axles and brakes.

Bought a Hurst shifter (knob, shaft and plate). The plate had to be machined a little because of the angle of the factory set up.

Brake line fitting. 3/16 brake line with 3/8 24 inverted flare X -3 AN Tee. I'm sure this part exists but I could not locate one at least in part because I don't even know what to call it. So i made one out of 3/16 stainless brake line and a -3 AN Tee.

First drilled out the Tee.

Inserted the 3/16 brake line(s) into the T and TIG welded them in.

Kevlar line (with -3 AN ends) will replace the rubber flex line.

Installed on the rear end.

Made a little brake line clamp that will attach to the 4 link bar.

Been working on a big project at work, just got back from vacation. Almost done with the bodywork. Will probably paint in the next week or so.

Car is ready to paint. Stripped, etch-primed, epoxy primed, panel fitment, body work, ... . Everything done. We are moving at work and it's a huge project. Should be able to get to the car on a regular basis in a couple of weeks.
