1966 dart gas cap question?

just an update... after the rain i had a chance to get the dart out first time after the filter install... it mad no difference to help with the vapor lock. as they say back to the drawing board..

Hay no problem. Just wanted to clarify. A .006" hole would hardly be a return. lol

Question....after I run my car and Parked it..in the morning I still have 4or so psi on my fuel gauge...with the Return I didn't think I would have any pressure....what am I missing...thanks

Nothing. Even with a vented cap,you may have that. I don't know how much it takes to trigger the cap vent, but it's not open to the atmosphere all the time. Only when enough pressure builds up. Remove the gas cap and see if the pressure falls.

i will try that... the cap is a non vented cap there is a factory vent tube along side of the filler tube
