Hello all, long time since I have had reason to post.
Recently picked up a 65 Valiant 4 door on the cheap. Texas car that is really solid. /6 3 in the tree. It's been sitting for a number of years, so it's going to take some work to get it road worthy again.
It has a set of rear window louvers, has anybody ever seen this in a 4 door?
They appear to be made of thin wood or laminate on a pot metal framework.
Also, I have access to a early 72 Duster that has disc brakes that I was hoping to swap on the the V. Anything I should be aware of b4 I go ahead with the swap? It's complete, master, booster, prop valve.....the works. Thought about snagging the driveline as a spare too, although it's an auto car. The Duster still has a few good parts on it, so if I can i might try to post a few here for those in need . Most of the body is shot. Floors, quarters, fenders and dog legs are rusted out. Taillights and markers are good. Maybe a few other odds and ends. I'll see what can be salvaged.
Any info on my V would be appreciated .

Congratulations!

There are some 4-door lovers here, myself included.

The louvers do not sound like any type of factory option. Can you post a photo?

are they on the inside (like seen on some of the Aussie cars) or on the outside - probably custom done.

Going to try to get a pic tomorrow sometime, maybe this weekend.

Yes, bolted down to the rear package tray.
I haven't looked to see how they are attached above. I really haven't looked too deeply into them, just trying to get some idea of what I have.

Sorry the windows aren't cleaner. Best I can tell, these are aftermarket Dartman.
They are aluminum blades.
