Since school is out for the summer, I'm back to working part time at a dealership.
Normally I work in the parts room as I am trained as a Mopar parts mgr.
This summer they needed help at the service desk and beggars can't be choosers.
Today a lady came in and demanded that we fix her car, now!!!
Not going to happen we're booked!
Go out to get the VIN & mileage and this is what I find!

None of the techs will get in it! Not sure how this is going to play out, but I do know that it's going on a heavy lift.
Can you imagine what the lady's house looks like?????

I sure wouldn't work on that mess.
It might ignite in the parking lot.:D
Might catch something, or even get bit by something.

Play it? Do what I used do to. Clean it or it doesn't get fixed.

Ran into a lot of that. The techs put up with enough ****. They shouldn't have to put up with that, too.

Oh, that's a good one, let me guess it was probably sitting out on the lot with the windows up baking in the sun for a few hours before it got test driven.

Oh, it's 95° F here today. The inside of that car was hotter than the hinges of hell when I took those pics. When I left, it was still sitting there. Not sure what the svc mgr is going to do with it. Everyone who works here has been out looking at the mess. This is a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport, there's crap that's been in there since 2000.

I once had a customer come through a drive through that I was doing repairs on with books half way up her windshield and throughout the entire vehicle. I could not understand how she could even see anything.

My first thought was 'What is my sister doing in Ohio?' but she drives a Honda... lol

Had a Honda come in at work like that on a tow with front end damage.
Nobody at work would get near it, it smelled that bad, the front end damage was fixed outside in the parking lot, paint and all.
It was that bad.

Had a similar experience at a Ford dealership. Servic manager, shop operations manager both agreed it should not come in shop.
It had to be cleaned before any tech there could put their hands on it. Best shop i ever worked at.

That's a sure sign of mental illness right? Is that stating the obvious? I'd be careful with her.
