Has anybody else noticed the A body ragtop barracuda in the latest Cadillac commercial. Usually they make sure all background vehicles are all GMs

Just watched one with a red caddy suv. It turned the corner and there was a light blue 67-68 mustang fastback parked on the right side. Its a blur but you can make it out as a stang fastback

Orange plate, possibly an Illinois car in '69?
Check the vid. Looks like it had it's nose pushed in.

In the old days we would take old Fords and stuff Cadillac motors and dashes in them and call them Fordillacs. That would make these Cudallacs.

My question would be is it a members car and how did they get it in the commercial ?
I know that most commercials are do on a closed location so that no one is in the back ground being stupid. Plus anyone is the commercial has to sign a release so they don't want to track down 500 people walking down a street for several hours while they film. So that car just didn't happen to be their out of the blue it was placed their by someone. Maybe they are trying to get middle aged people that can afford to have toys like a 69 Barracuda to spend money to their car and move up to a Cadillac. Just not me LOL

Yes, but since its GM you would think they woulda had a Cramero or Shevelle SS in there. Unless they are trolling for non traditional GM owners.

its totally a 69, you can see the rectangular side lights, the 67 has none and the 68 has circle side lights

cadillac doesn't have any classic cars that evoke a "youthful, free spirited attitude".

otherwise, they'd have used one.

Any movie I ever worked on will go through a company that supplies cars. For smaller things they will rent peoples cars that are on the crew, or ones they know about. They ask around for cool cars. My friends 71 valiant and my 88 Nissan Pulsar are in a rap video. I had to teach a guy named 6lack how to drive standard. Another friend of mine bought an 80’s caddy for a like 2 hundred bucks from one of the car suppliers when we were working the set of the purge #4.
