A buddy of mine just bought one too. They are really nice good shooters. For me a 308 is just too expensive to shoot in a semi auto. I have several ar15 one of them in 300 blk out I really like that round. Granted its not gonna give the performance of a 308 but it's legal to hunt with around here and has good short range performance for deer and smaller. And If I ever get the money it's very suppressable!
Congrats on the new gun btw!! I love new toys!
 
Thanks.I have 2 15's cheap rounds.I looked at 308 and I'm probably not going to stash a bunch .

After many years of wanting one, I picked this up last year. I don't really go for all the rails and bells and whistles, I alway liked the XM-177's, and this was close enough for me without spending a fortune. I have had an AK for over 25 years, but this is my first AR.

That is why I personally prefer to cerekote mine in different colors that way they are less likely to turn to the dark side! It's hard to call a copper ar15 a "black gun" be then it's just prejudice! Haha
 
Yep I reload everything I have. Pistols that you can cast bullets for is where you really can save alot of money. I have some 45acp that literally cost the primer and powder to shoot!
 
I just put this pistol together. Anderson lower married to a PSA 10.5" upper chambered in 5.56, topped off with a Primary Arms red dot. Total OAL is 22 and 3/4" from muzzle to the end of the buffer tube.

This thing is a hoot to shoot.

I was gonna do a 450 bushmaster in an ar but did it on this instead.

I have several presses one for pistols (turret) a couple for rifles (single)
