I have a spare set of ebody bucket seats leftover from my barracuda I was gonna put them in the dart but now I'm thinking I will just sell them and use the money to put towards the machinist bill!
What is a good asking price? I know the price on stuff like this is based solely on finding a buyer but where should I start? They are in pretty rough shape they will need redone but they are complete including the brackets.

I'll have a set like that in better shape at the next swap meet (Sunday) for $75.00 but I do not have the mounting brackets.

The seat frames are not E body specific, A & B also just not the more desirable years for seats.

those are 72-74, not as desireable as 70-71 which go for $500-$800 pr. cores are ther same as A & B body but tracks are not. if you have both matching & complete, $300-350 range..provided the cores are not rusted to bits.

Thanks guys i

Yes they are 72 i believe I'm not 100 % they came out of a challenger

'72 still had the separate plastic backs.

Some '73s also.

These have the full vinyl backs, so possibly later '73 or '74.

I'll have 3 pairs of '70 seats for sale on Sunday for a lot less than that...........

If the brackets are good that's the most important part. I paid 100 for some reoached out e body seats. Without the brackets. Probably $300 + the old natty light can. Lol

Yea that makes sence because my 72 barracuda had plastic backs. I can't remember but I now I'm thinking it was a 74 challenger. I bought these off a guy I used to work with he had a sweet sublime green challenger. I was thinking it was a 72 but I bet it was a 74

They actually bring decent money, but they came in almost every E body.
70s bring the most because they are a one year only seat.
Seats are actually bringing good money, because people pulled them out to put in other vehicles.
I myself an guilty I put a set of buckets out of a 71 cuda I had in a ramcharger.
Bought an old dart one time that ran and drove, the title ended up being jacked around, it had E body seats and a 727, good buy for $50.

I plan on using a set of 05-09 mustang GT buckets in my sons 69 notch because the factory 68-69 A/B body buckets are impossible to find and expensive.

70s bring the most because they are a one year only seat.

The 1970 seat frames with the removable hinge covers ran well into 1971 production.

So the later '71 seats with the full backs are actually the hardest to find, even though the earlier versions draw more money due to the wider market.

Huh, good to know. I just tonight pulled the driver's seat out of my 73 Cuda and plopped in a Jeg's GS-1 seat. Two reasons for the swap. The original seats offer zero side bolster support for hard cornering, which probably led to a lot of the original swaps. And, the covers are pretty torn up and need to be redone and probably foam replaced. I love the looks of the original seats but I want more support. I'll keep the originals around and maybe redo them if I can get deal on covers.
