Watching the Packers out in the garage. I know it's the first preseason game, but I love watching those.. some of these guys will never play on a NFL field again, so they give it all they got. GB is a totally different team this year.. they're either gonna be really good, or it'll be a total shitshow... I'm leaning towards shitshow, lol.
Love/hate this time of year.. weather is usually nice, and I love football.. but it's a sign I'll be shoveling snow in a few months.
 
Waiting for the College games. Go Gators!

John Elway is my Hero as far as a player. His personnel decisions are suspect at best.He keeps putting band-Aid's on gaping wounds. Living in Arizona now I don't get the inside info like I used to get.Hope he got us a long term fix at Q-Back and Offensive line.

Often times great players cannot draft well at the position they played, funny as that seems. Denver should have a defense good enough to make the playoffs. The offense needs to stay on the field to let the defense rest. In other words, get first downs!!. No matter how good the defense is, 3 and outs wear them out. Should see improvement at the QB spot with Flaco, never was a Keenan fan.
 
The Seahawks are my team. I had to switch teams in 1976 when we moved west.
The Steelers still have a spot in my heart. as they were my team,
It's a win win situation for me as the Steelers are my wife's team. lol

He hated Tebow even after he took them to the playoffs quickly, dumped him and went for the old guy for short gain. It took him many and repeat many years to get there! I think he is a horse teeth jack ***! Just an opinion! He was a good QB in time but it took time!

RSie shudders.. 'Bart Starr as coach' Great QB, awesome guy with what he did for the community and troubled boys with his camp, but as a coach... oof.
 
Needless to say screw the NFL and watch college ball!

Even with all the recent GB-Seahawks rivalry, I still have a soft spot for the Hawks. My grandma lived in Seattle, and we used to drive out there every summer from Wisconsin. Jim Zorn and Steve Largent were her heroes.

I think Dan Reeves was John's biggest hindrance early on in his playing career with his run to the left and lose 5 yards then run to the right and lose 5 yards and ok John "Bail us out ") :) I do remember John lining up under the Guard one time. :)

A guy can do both! Badgers at Camp Randall Stadium, and the 5th quarter, is something every human should experience! Nobody leaves when the game is done!

I think Dan was great coach. He surely helped the Falcons. I know Ellway had a great arm and ultimately a stand out QB but as a owner/manager he is lacking and thinks too much of himself! Once again an opinion!
 
Elway is not among the best on my QB list, mediocre at best.
He is even worse as a person. He owned a place on CDA lake in North Idaho a few years ago. I was on the lake one weekend and the F'er about capsized my 19 ' ski boat by his drunk irresponsible driving, he freaking was impressing his buddies with his 40 ' fountain. I won't get into what happened when I ran into him at the lake side eatery. He's a pussy cat. lol

I'm always amazed at how people on the internet talk about how they "took Care" of a pro athlete and showed em up. :) :)

I came close to buying cheap airfare for 2 to Phoenix and watching the $3.00 a ticket Charger/Cardinals pre season game. Wife had a prior engagement so I had to babysit at home tonight. Playing some Wii. College bound son in background.

We have all been around the block. I wouldn't think his body guards would let you get within 20 feet of him but I been wrong before. Not a big deal.
