Prep Valve Covers for Paint

Preping some small block valve covers for paint. Metal finishing the dents out of them too. Now I know how @CudaChick1968 feels. Sure she has a better prep method.

Little more final sanding, gray prime coat, then Chrysler Silver Base/Clear.

Getting them ready for the 340 Cammed 360, upcoming engine swap.

I need to do mine over, too. The machine shop painted my 318 motor blue, including the original 273 Commando (wrinkle black) valve covers. Funny.

I like the cast aluminum ones myself because you can just spray them down with acid and let soak, then pressure rinse and it looks better than new.
