Stop in for a cup of coffee

The games turned out to be a trap...

Only one hour of play time before they wanted me to upgrade and pay for them... Not worth it... :icon_fU:

I like to play solitaire when I listen to YouTube videos...
Don't think I ever tried to find solitaire on this computer (WIN 10)

I like to listen to Autorestomod on youtube while driving to work. I've worked on those cars so much I dont even have to see to know what they are doing. Helps keep me awake.

I spent the whole day in Chevy country. My new friend I met the other day turned out to be a perfect car guy, just into Chevy big Time.

We worked on his 68 chevelle / Malibu car. Very cool car.

He was showing me a 402 he has on a stand. I had heard of a Chevy 402 before but I never got to see one in as much detail, he really knows his Chevy stuff. Unfortunately he doesn't know squat about mopar. He was calling dusters and "dodge dusters"

I'm kinda impressed with GM now.

I found out about the Chevy 402 back in high school..

Our good friend worked at a hardware store near Midway Airport and another worker was getting rid of a "Chevy small block" engine for free...

He was the youngest of three brothers and his older brothers were into cars, but he wasn't... His brothers moved out of the house and he was the last one that lived with their parents...

Our friend asked if we could help him pick up the engine in our truck... So we go out there with the truck first thing on a Sunday morning and we start loading the engine in the back of the truck... When we went to load the block, it was heavier than we expected and after lifting it up, we set it back down for a minute to regain our strength... (We had just woken up and were still a little tired)... So after regaining our strength after a quick minute, we lifted the block into our truck...

We continued loading the rest of the engine into our truck and when we got to the heads and valve covers, I took one and Jim took the other... As soon as we set them down in the truck we both looked up at each other and said, This isn't a small block"... We recognized that it wasn't the small block Chevy valve cover bolt pattern on the heads...

No wonder the block was heavier than we expected... I was only ready to lift a small block that early first thing in the morning...

After doing a little research with some of our GM car friends Jim found out that the engine that he got was actually a big block 402 Chevy... A 402 is basically a 396 with a larger bore...

@Ben Drinkin in has some competition... :mob:

We have a chromed out SBC 400 in the 55 Chevy with an old B&M hood scoop. Even the fittings are stainless. Didn’t want it looking like every other Tri-Five.

Morning!
Another mild day. Just below freezing and raining.

It's from China...

There is one case in Chicago right now, maybe two...

That's one reason we didn't go to Chinatown last weekend to see them celebrate the Chinese New year... We didn't want to chance getting close to someone who may have picked it up and brought it back here...

We will come close to our record high temps today, we are going to hit 70 possibly

After walking 12 hours yesterday I felt like sticking my feet in the bucket.

My doctor told me to walk two miles per day to get some exercise...

I called him up a week later and said, "Doc, I'm 14 miles from home, what should I do"??? :BangHead:

Yep, the news just reported that there are two cases of Corona Virus in Chicago...
