Hey yall!! I havent been on alot lately I figured I'd check in and see how everything is going. I am ready to get started back on my dart this spring I haven't got anything done since the fall oct and November I hunted every free day I got and since December it's been to cold wet or windy to do much of anything so I have been doing alot of inside gunsmithing jobs lol it's about to start warming up so the plan is around March I'm gonna get going again. First thing on the agenda is the finish the rear end and get all that put back in and paint the engine bay. Then get the 360 dropped off at the machinist and while he is doing that I'm gonna get the front suspension and steering put back together ! The goal is to have it at least running by this fall. Of course that's been the goal the last two years so we shall see haha.
 
Hey, a plan is a plan. What's the saying about planning to fail by failing to plan? Even if we don't make our target, at least we have something to aim for. And every tidbit along the way is an accomplishment.

For some reason I was thinking you had a dart sport beak car lol that grille looks nice in the picture. I found a nos 73 -74 grille for my dart if shipping is reasonable I'm gonna buy it. I like the 73-74 dart grilles alot better than the 75s

Me too Haha I'm looking forward to start working on it again. Hopefully I will have some nice weather this week and I'm gonna get some work done to the rearend
Hows yours coming along? Last I talked to you you had picked up a magnum iirc?

Yep I did have a 74 dart sport 360, I traded it for the demon.

Not much has changed on mine. I have picked up a few parts though. Yes I’m going from a slant to a 5.2 Magnum. Hoping to have it running by November but time is already flying by lol!

Same boat brother! Mine was supposed to be running by fall of 2018 haha here we are almost spring 2020 and I'm nowhere close. Alot more work and time and money than I anticipated !
 
Good to have you back. You get anything this season? You couldda come hunt down here. You mightta got the deer that ran into us last night. lol

Yea I killed a doe the last day of rifle I didnt get anything late season. Man I would love to come down to Ga and hunt I hear there is good hunting there.

You could come set up in our back yard long as it's a tree stand so you can shoot down. We have almost seven acres. Mostly wooded. We see them all the time.

That's cool man. I really love them. I hated we hit one. They are beautiful animals. I don't hunt, but I sure don't have anything against it.
 
More than a few times I have walked out on the back deck at night in the Fall and have been face-to-face with the 12 point buck from that herd standing only a few feet from the bottom of the steps. He snorts at me and I snort at him...then he just casually moves along on his way.

Kinda cool actually.
