Sand blasted the underside of the scamp hood today being careful not to hit the outer sheet metal but did in a few spots and worped the hood so not a happy camper today. Will be able to do paintless dent repair on it but gonna take some time and was hopping to get the underside painted this weekend. So another screw up on my part.

Expecting 29c today, some dumb bastard neighbor was mowing the f@#%ing lawn at 5am. Wife says that she heard him last week too. I slept through that one.
 :elmer: :mob:
That's just ignorant... wait till he's in bed for 30 minutes or so and open up the headers. Paybacks are a *****. LOL

Oh sorry to hear that Fred. There you were trying to be so careful but at least you're the right guy to fix it. It'll look fine.

Finally it's raining and coming down quite hard. We sure need it.
I was at Costco today and when I came out there was a 76 Olds Cutlass parked. I went over to admire the car and there was a nice young man in the driver's seat. I struck up a conversation with him. He is 16 years old and just bought the car. He had been working and saving his money for a car. He didn't want a ricer (his words) so he bought this one. The car was built here In Oshawa and sold by the local dealer in town. It has 53,000 miles on it and had been sitting for 30 years. Had some surface rust but no big deal. He also wanted to know about car shows in the area. A very polite young man and the makings of another gearhead. Nice to see.

I heard there is gold in old river beds.
Not in this valley. There is gold and silver in other counties. They don't call Montana "The Treasure State" for nuthin. I tried panning on the down river side of some big rocks on the river bank and it was a failure.

Would like to try panning just for fun. Not looking to get rich just enjoy an afternoon.
I like rocks I have a collection of petrified wood I found around this State and just interesting rocks.

Lots of old mines and ghost towns in Montana. One is called Zortman. About smack dab between you and me. I've always wanted to check it out.
