This one is an odd ball. I have a 73’ 340 block that is std bore (4.040) but it came out of a boat. There are no stampings on the oil pan rail. And on the front of the block is stamped 340 CCW. It was NOT raw water cooled. The boat has heat exchangers. So its in rather good shape. It will need one sleeve ( see pics) i believe it sat with water in one cylinder for a long time. Id like to get $400 obo. Located in Southeast FL.

Not that it matters, but "CCW" means counter-clockwise (rotation) for a twin-engine application. Just an FYI. Good luck with your sale!
 
The CCW stamp is nothing to be worried about. The block is the same as its automotive counterpart. The crank is what was different. The anti leak hash marks are backwards on the marine engines that turn CCW, but that's on the crank, not the block. I wouldn't give it a second thought.
