Are you positive you need + 2 inch springs, thats a lot.I dont want to beat a dead horse about rear springs. I want 2" rear lift springs and everyone seems to like the espo springs but has anyone used these springs?View attachment 1715626676 View attachment 1715626676
I saw a post of another members car with +2 springs on a duster running 295s on 10" wide rimsAre you positive you need + 2 inch springs, thats a lot.
I put a + 1 inch set on my 67 Barracuda and I run 275/60-15 tires with no issues.
Just saying
That is a big tireI saw a post of another members car with +2 springs on a duster running 295s on 10" wide rims
It is but it looked good -44 offset and didn't stick out as far as you'd think. That is a big tire
That would help, I'm going to lose a little height going with an axle tube that is almost an inch bigger so im going to lose 1/2" in rear height as it is, I want to fo for that 70s drag car look. The springs from southwest are $230.00 shipped for a set that's the best price I've seen.I just put a new set of leafs on my '74 Duster from General Spring. They were supposed to be standard height, but they raised the back of the car at least 1 1/2" vs the old, flat pair I replaced. Lots of room for a 275/60 on an 8" rim now. I can measure it when I get back home in a couple days, if that would help.
They seem like a super good deal!I have seen these as well. Around 250 shipped Let us know if you get them , and if you like them

I bought them a couple years ago for my '64 Barracuda project, they put the rear waaaay higher than what I wanted. Robbed them for the '74, they gave me the tire room I needed, and I figure enough for any sag. I see they have different heights listed on the website, I'll get the part #s and make sure it's for their "stock height" springs. That would help, I'm going to lose a little height going with an axle tube that is almost an inch bigger so im going to lose 1/2" in rear height as it is, I want to fo for that 70s drag car look. The ones I'm looking at are #550-1262 do you have any pictures of your car with them on? Do they ride okay or are they too soft or stiff?I bought them a couple years ago for my '64 Barracuda project, they put the rear waaaay higher than what I wanted. Worst case senario is you will have to drill on the front spring hanger and get 5/8 nuts and bolts if yours are 1/2”.The springs from General use a 5/8" bolt for the front bushing, in case that makes a difference.
Member Larryass - What do you "disagree" with? Are you positive you need + 2 inch springs, thats a lot.
