I have a 1972 dodge dart swinger special and after a hard rain storm the driver side rear floor mat has standing water in it. I have no idea where the water is coming from.
would that cause only the rear floor mat to have water, that is the only place in the car that gets waterWiper pivot shafts.
Get some on inside with a flash light.
Get the garden hose on low and start low on the body
I did this for a solid 5 min and could not see a drop of water inside
Go to every point of entry working your way up.
ALSO
Look under the car for body plugs missing or dislodged.
Brand new 2006 Dodge minivan would get water under the carpet after a carwash. Turned out to be a missing body plug.
i pulled out the seats and floor mats and all the plugs are there and the floor is not carpet it has the rubber floor mat from the dart special
Question...
Was car being driven when rainstorm happened?
no
Was car on slope when rainstorm happened? If so which direction?
yes in my driveway the front end was slightly higher
Rust?
Windows / seals replaced?
i have not replaced any seals
