I saw a nice looking hood for my 67 Barracuda on VFN fiberglass website. I have to replace my hood anyway and am looking for a good replacement.I am looking for any input of people who have used their hoods before I buy one.
Thanks

What is your expectation for fit?

My past experience is it required a lot of fit and fishing to fit and look at good as stock steel.

I have a AAR hood for 71 demon 6pack and it's a bolt on to hinges design $725....well it sux... doesn't fit right and one side is warped straight out of the box..very disappointed because I sold factory hood thinking this was the deal...bullshit...

Someone on here is doing a hemi swap on his barracuda and has one. I will try and find it. I believe he painted the car gold

I got a VFN hood for my 65 Valiant. good quality and workmanship. I would recommend them.

My one piece nose, pin on style (dzus fastened) hood and scoop are all VFN. Good stuff. shipping was pricey$$$

Unless you get extremely lucky, plan on doing a lot of fitment with any fiberglass panel. I've only had one or two pieces fit without sanding on them to make them fit properly.
