Sold my cuda after almost 6 months of waiting....and bought back my first love , rare 1 of 50 ,1976 e58 360 L code Silver duster sunroof car, needs little things but its nothing hard to fix , its exactly in the same condition as when i sold it , 410hp - 440 torque mopar crate engine , 2800 pounds body with fiberglass , 3500 stall and 3.91s pretty good for a street car

Love it....grill looks better than 73-74 style...great job getting it back! Very cool ride..E58 1976 duster....Sweet!!!

Yes buddy it was very very frustrating but its all done , we have our cashdown for the house , debts paid and my old crush back !!! Cant be happier to be honest !
 
I had a 74 dart sport 360, real "L" engine code car, numbers matching and I thought that was rare. That car is no where near as rare as a 76 duster or sport because by 76 a 360 powered A body wasn't really a thing anymore so they didn't make many at all.

i did some major research in the 10 years ive owned it and it was around 1 of 50 made from factory with 19 options and 1 of 14 made ( on 50 ) for the canadian market , its a 360 4bbl e58 car with the police pursuit package, heavy duty suspension (body and suspension reinforcement bigger torsion bars , bigger radiator etc, sunroof , boca raton interior , rear window defrost , double exhaust with factory catalyc converter delete , cruise control , rallye wheels , its not as valuable as a 71 duster 340 but i always loved that it was rare and it was truly one the last duster ever fabricated...made in the end of december xx 1975...in the last 15 years i only found 3 real 76 360 L code dusters and only one of them was a sunroof car ( like mine ) , Even mopar lovers will say that a 76 duster 360 never existed since the volare and aspen took all the attention in 1976 !! I really appreciate the support !

So it came with rear sway bar?
 
Do you have a build sheet by chance ?
What did the Police Pkg consist of ?
Could have been an undercover car .
 
No rear sway bar , but all the rest is different than my other 318 gold duster that i had , its a very different ride
The police suspension 76 a-bodies, I've seen, have a rear sway bar, extra reinforcement for the strut rod anchors, and extra gussets on the UCA pivot frame-mounting ears, and of course bigger t-bars. all the rest mentioned is there ( front suspension bigger torsion bars , bigger radiator , reinforcement, maybe it had a rear sway bar before , rear suspension was modified and the car has a 8 3/4 rear end now , rear battery relocation etc , the car has been tricked out and is now more like a street cruiser with a sleeper attitude versus a 100 points resto ,the as been white all its life but in 2011 it was its 3rd body work and paint job , who knows what happened before that, the 8 1/4 housing and original engine are long gone unfortunately but i had all the rest of the e58 package ( alternator , waterpump, factory intake and carb , fan blade , 8 1/4 ring and pinion 2.94s , spare torsion bars and oem shocks )and could compare to 2 other e44 318 dusters side by side , its a different animal.
