So, in my humble, yeah the 74ish Charger is a Lil more aerodynamic.. but a 250 shot on a stock 318? Only 1 run though? I hate to say it, the brick truck Casper will probably get it, and in a mean way. If he hooks.. Unc T caint hit the bottle in 1st.... well, it never worked well for me, anyway

What engine combo is it? A Clevor? I know it has Cleveland style heads......which I greatly approve of. lol

318 won't be stock, but it will be a 318. How much cam and shot we don't know. I do know he's already come out of the hole on the NOS and went 1.6's in the 60 foot. That was a 100 shot. Yes, I think the cards are in Casper's corner with the entire set up.

I had the old 89 or 90 edition of the MP Engine Book, they break it down. The intakeports on a 351 Cleavland out flow a 426 Hemi....
I found it. Has aftermarket BOSS 429 heads on it. And Tony is gonna run a 318 against it?

Impressive motor. Actually, his truck ran really hard on the old motor. Even though he's close to 4k pounds, I expect he'll run 10's.
You must have more insight than I do, because I have not heard the amount of spray for the motor he is assembling.
In my eyes, here lies the problems for Tony.
- Casper is a well sorted out truck, proven to hook and go in a mud puddle. Bottle Rocket hasn't made a clean pass yet. This fact is huge.
- The tree. If they go pro tree, Andy is more "recent" (for lack of better term) and raced so I say the light goes to Andy.
- It's 1/8 mile. This leaves no room for error, and Casper being an automatic and BR being a clutch car, error to be made on the launch and down track has to be in Casper's favor.
- It's one and done. If an error anywhere is made, or caught sleeping at the lights, no redo.
- It's one and done. If he sprays 300 shot it only has to live once for a few seconds.
- It's one and done. Should Casper break traction (no trial runs, it's off the trailer) BR could take the win.
- It's one and done. If he can tree Andy, or anything to get the lead in the 60 ft, he may not give it up in the rest of the 560 ft.
- 4k on the line. That's a lot of money. For one 660 ft race, Tony may go more crazy because he has less of everything invested means he just cares less.
Either way, Tony wins, because people are gonna eat it up on youtube. I hope he does well, too.
I am a little surprised he hasn't played a little more off this race means youtube is how he pays his bills. He has interest for sure. I just hope the car performs for him and let the cards fall where they will. Andy Wood is a good guy. Very respectful and gets my respect in return. Very knowledgeable.
I hope Tony gets his car to 100% of what it's capable of. That will make it at least more entertaining.

Hes been working on that thing for 4 years and its yet to make even 1 clean pass. The likelihood of it even making it to the starting line is slim.
I can say with purt near 100% certainty Vixen would make several passes without issue. Course I ain't findin out, cause that ain't why I built her.

Likely another hot wind thread were everything is talked about and nothing gets accomplished... The Battle of the u boob heroes.. LOL..
Casper is one of my favorite trucks .... even being a Ford LOL. Casper has several races lined up for the event, so even if the BR vs Casper doesn't happen Casper will be racing.
By the way, has anyone seen what a gorgeous van Adam has put together? The color scheme/stripes are just awesome, can't wait to line up our van beside it!!!
