I'm getting in touch with a friend of mine to buy my engine stand, jackstands, and few other things that I won't be needing anymore, I'm done with the car scene.

Yea! I’m pretty much done with this asshole. The amount of stink emitting has become unpleasant. The level of stupidity shown is unprecedented at this forum.

I’m just about finished with this one not really a coupe but close. 302 5 speed 8” 3:55 I also have a poppy red 65 fastback 351-5 speed 9” blue one is A code red is C code they will be ready in about two months, Plymouth wheels

The member is clearly not a buyer,
but the good ending for me was another poster loved my Dart and wanted to buy it.
But by then I realized all the patience and hard work I put in the Dart should not result in it going down the road. So, I declined, and Intend to keep the car.
It is likely the only new 1969 Dodge dart sedan in the United States!
Up to 300 miles on the speedo now!

If you are referring to me not being a buyer, that's not true, I know what I want and I'm not going to settle for any old thing.

I disagree. You didnt mention budget. Be realistic.
I have spent maybe 5 grand on my 65 Barracuda,not even close to resembling a car.
A 65 came up in BC, 10 grand. I should have flown out and grabbed it and drove home. Im probably 2 years and another 10 grand to have a decent driver.
I do ALL the labour. So 800 or so hours, that’s 24 grand labour at 1/3 my shop rate. So 50 ish thousand dollars.
In 1969, dart gts with a 340/4 speed sold in manitoba for $3450. Its just as nice as the day he bought it. $40,000 wont buy it.

You obviously have spent no time looking at old cars in person,and don't know what you are looking at when you do, sir. and likely have no previous experience in restoring one, if you did you would know better.

On the bright side, since your net is big enough that you are open to novas and mustangs you will have better luck. I like some of the pontiacs. A nice clean early 70s lemans would be nice and probably had for under 20K. There is a fella running Maple motors or something like that, you can find him on you tube. Seems to be running an honest outfit. offers shipping. have a third party inspect. Sure you arent going to pay bottom dollar, but for the extra 5K....why not if its within your budget?

Way back I lived about an hour out of Kansas City, or 2 hours from the South part of town where the top feeders live. Someone from there would call about a Mopar I would have for sale, usually a running/ driving project, or sometimes a restored car or something in between. I would tell them whee I lived and 90 of the time the rely was " Man thats too far to com look!" I would ask just how many 69 Roadrunners are for sale on your block anyway!!!!?? Just how many can your find for sale in all of KC?????
I bought a really well done 69 Runner from a guy about 30 mi East for $5000. His asking price. This was about 2000. Like me, he was couple hours out of K.C. He could NOT get anyone to come look, advertised in the city paper ads. City chits.
