So far its all good. I have a larger gas tractor for sale and if it sells I am looking for an articulating 4wd Diesel to double the width of equipment I pull.

Love to see you fixing and enjoying the old Ford Fred. They were not meant to sit in a showcase.
I need to find a flat bed trailer to haul it to parades and car shows now that I have a truck to haul it with.
I'm tired of it just sitting in the garage and really want to enjoy it.
Looks like we got snow coming down 
Morning men it’s cold and wet this morning a slush of thick water everywhere not white but wet ! Off to the rink have 2 final games in an old timer tournament then two more league games tonight and yes the extra hour felt good this morning! Fred the old girl is looking good sir.

Getting cold here Mark going to be 12*F soon. I'm ok with it we had a good fall.
Almost got everything away for winter so took advantage of the beautiful weather and went for a drive.
Saw a few classics on the road so I'm not alone.
A few more days and then it'll get it cleaned up and put away for winter. Tempting to keep driving as the days will be mostly sunny this week but the temps are dropping slowly.
My luck I'll put it away and the next week will be lovely, it's a crap shoot.
Have a great evening fellas, ribs for supper tonight and I made a cake this morning and used some of the Halloween M&M's to decorate it

I think we all had a decent summer and fall except if you're in Lower Florida. Feel so sorry for those people but they all got together and helped each other. Too bad the rest of the world can't do that

MIL made fries in the deep fryer last night and tonight she turned the oven on to cook some toast and for some reason the cord for the deep fryer was in the oven and it melted and I came in the house and could smell fried plastic.
Think I best do the cooking from now on but gonna be hard to stop her from trying to cook. I am at the end of my trying to deal with it and her cats. Stress level is max for me and would be better if I had a wife to help her but no . So I spend all my time keeping an eye on her or just let her burn the house down? Cleaning oven tomorrow and not a happy camper tonight.

Wish I could help Fred. Maybe you can find some volunteer respite program. A lot of programs for the aging.

It might be better if she went into assisted living Fred. You can only do so much and if she's doing things like that she shouldn't left alone for her own safety.
I know you want to be the good SIL but you also have your own life without coming home wondering if the house is still standing. A tough decision for sure but I would think it's the best decision for everyone.
As much as I loved my mom she had to go into one of those places as she was in the early stages of dementia. I had our phone number on speed dial on her phone and marked it with a blue marker so all she had to do was pick up the phone and push the blue button. Eventually itt got that she couldn't remember what to do to call me.
Thank goodness Pneumonia took her before she got really bad.
Best to talk it over with your family with your MIL present and see what is best for all.

First we have the ECE and maintenance workers on strike and even ignoring a back to work order and now we have the Go Transit bus drivers and maintenance workers going on strike today. But having two unions the train crews are still working.
Just waiting for another shoe to drop.
At least they have great weather to walk the picket lines or they might protest that too.
I'm being facetious of course.

Snowed here starting at noon yesterday finished about midnight everything covered, wet and frozen. But I can actually say I had all my outside work done, first time ever. Meat is in freezer, son headed off home this morning 8 hr drive in prime conditions, he’s expecting a12 hr. ride. Supposed to be sunny and 6 maybe this crap will melt. Truck looking good Fred. Heard the dart snoring yesterday as I walked by lol. Have a great day Gents
Hey Murray when you shimmed the transmission in your A did you space between engine and bellhousing or transmission?
Also what size smims should I use?
I need to get it fixed so I can drive it next summer I'm tired of it just sitting.
