anyone her follow the world cup ?
im starting to think the Orange will get it this time

one a side note, did we discuss breakfast yet?

a while ago i came across a recipe for a hash brown omelet
i made me one, then i made the wife one, then i made the boy one

thats where i went wrong, he has been wanting one just about every day since for breakfast
they are pretty simple to make, you put a small layer of hashbrowns in a frying pan in some oil and cook it for a few minutes

then you whisk up a few eggs with some milk and seasoning, and pour that over the hashbrowns
of course you got to add some form of protein to it, ham, bacon, spam, leftover fajita chicken, chorizo, you name it

my boy of course prefers the bacon (and i do too) and this is where this becomes a bit of a pain, because now i have to fry up some bacon before making the omelets each morning

but, smart as i am, i decided the cut up enough bacon for the entire week, fry it up and put it aside until i need it

which when great, until the baby came by, said "oh bacon" took the plate and ate my entire weeks supply
No, Rugby here, we know how to use our hands.

The collection of a suspects DNA is not what I was talking about. If law enforcement is following someone they have reason to. Seems to me they were fishing in some private companies data base to see what would fall out when they shook it.
no, i get that
what i am saying is, a ton of these "private" companies are not private

just think of zoom for a moment, you dont suppose they use their data and sell it to trackers?

somebody is footing the bill for this, and if you use these DNA services you shouldnt be surprised if it is not as private as you think

Morning men it’s pandemonium here snowed all night we got 6”:realcrazy: schools shutdown, crazy accidents , everyone was warned and still summer tires causing all the issues .

Golden State Killer caught using relative's DNA from genealogy websites, prosecutors say

Investigators in California were able to crack the case of the Golden State Killer using genealogical websites that featured genetic information from a relative, prosecutors said Thursday.

Joseph James DeAngelo, 72, was arrested Tuesday at his Citrus Heights home after a DNA sample matched that of the Golden State Killer — a mass murderer who's believed to be responsible for at least 12 murders, 45 rapes and 120 home burglaries through the state in the 1970s and 1980s.

GOLDEN STATE KILLER SUSPECT ARRESTED IN CALIFORNIA

The Sacramento County District Attorney's Office said Thursday that investigators used DNA from a crime scene years ago and compared it to other DNA samples from family history websites which users send their DNA to in order to learn more about their ancestry.

The district attorney's office "explored online family trees that appeared to have matches to DNA samples from the East Area Rapist's crimes," The Sacramento Bee reported. "They then followed clues to individuals in family trees to determine whether they were potential suspects."

Officials on Wednesday said that DNA helped investigators identify DeAngelo, and led to the case being solved within the last six days.

72-year-old former cop arrested in Golden State Killer case

Authorities say DNA led to the arrest of a former police officer suspected of dozens of slayings and sexual assaults in the '70s and '80s.
Sacramento County Sheriff Scott Jones referred to the genetic material as "discarded DNA," but authorities at the time refused to give specifics about how it was collected or matched to the suspect.

Authorities last Thursday reportedly were able to pinpoint that DeAngelo could be a suspect — which led to investigators setting up surveillance in his Citrus Heights neighborhood, and ultimately obtaining the "discarded DNA."

DeAngelo, a former police officer, was taken into custody as he left his home, located 16 miles northeast of Sacramento. Jones said that the 72-year-old was surprised when deputies arrested him and told them he had a roast in the oven.

He's so far been charged with eight murders.

I used to live in a house with a detached garage , about 30 feet from the house

At the time I was working ar a place some 50 miles away

As a rule of thumb, I would pour me a cup of coffee and look out my kitchen window

if i couldnt see the garage through the snow, i wasnt going in to work

Coming down pretty hard here too. Wife turned around instead of going to work.

Cold weather is back here, currently 9*f, with a wind chill of -3* and some light snow. More of the same for tomorrow. Sure brings out the idiots on the road, was cut off twice in a span of about 1 minute on my first trip this morning. Both times the idiots were turning off within a block. SMH.

Boss let us off early cause of snow once. Bought 15 mile drive home on a four lane road. Me and another truck passed each other ON THE WRONG SIDE of each other. Not sure where I was on the road nor probably did they.

Many times I have followed the tree line, no idea how close I could have been to the ditch during some nasty snowstorms.

My dad had a story about a friend of his who was following another car in a white out. Doing 5 mph and eyes heavily affixed to the taillights in front of him. Much to his suprise, a cop tapped on his side window. Seems the guy was standing still with the tire spinning. Lol

Ya FELT for the edge of the road many times, I call it white knuckle driving, you know when you get stopped and you have to peel your fingers out of the steering wheel
